Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) follows the two year academic year pattern as stated by the Karnatak University. The medium of instruction and examination of the course shall be both in Kannada and English. The course is approved by NCTE, recognized by Government of Karnataka.

Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science/Computer Application, Electronics, Biotechnology, Archaeology, Psychology, History, Political Science, Rural Development, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Education, Physical Education, Business study, commerce, accountancy, financial management, English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu etc.
Candidates who have obtained the B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ any degree from universities outside Karnataka state shall have studied in addition any one of the languages and atleast two elective subjects listed under electives given above. Further they shall have studied one of those electives by appearing in the University examinations for at least two years and the Principal subjects for all the three years. They are required to obtain the eligibility certificate from the Karnatak University.
Rules regarding admission, entrance examination, intake, eligibility, reservations, proportions for different subjects and related norms will be as laid down by the NCTE and the Government of Karnataka from time to time and notified by the University shall be followed.
