Anjuman College Conducts Entrepreneurship Workshop

Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College and P.G. Centre organised a state level seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship and Business skills development’ at it’s Seminar hall in Bhatkal on 28th October 2015.

Senior Government officials from Industries department and young Entrepreneurs were invited to speak and also participate in panel discussions.

The students presented the papers themselves and asked very valid and relevant questions to which the panelist gave suitable reply and clarified many points regarding Government facilities, financial subsidies etc.

Guest of honour Dr.Anant Murthy Shastri, Professor of Anjuman AITM, in his speech spoke about the history of entrepreneurship in India during the British era and much earlier. . He also encouraged the students to come up with ideas for establishment of business.

Chief guest Gopal Krishna Bekal Director of Industries,inspired the students with his talks and experience.

The General Secretary of Anjuman, Mohammed Ansar Kashimji motivated the students to become an entrepreneur by quoting “Try to become an employer not an employee”. He also said that in order to start a business one should have innovative ideas.

The President of Anjuman Abdul Raheem Jukaku emphasized on the importance of entrepreneurship in this modern world. He said that the main reason to conduct this seminar is to develop good communication skills among the students. “Try to be an employer and create employment” he quoted.

College Board Secretary Javeed Hussain Armar, Professor Mohammed Gaanim and many other personalities were present during the seminar.

Anjuman lays importance in conducting such Workshops, Seminars to expose students to the practical world which they have to face after completing their education. It also helps them build up their communication and presentation skills.
